    At the heart of Trendrr.TV lives the trendrr platform, our massively scalable data processing engine, and our real-time high availability API. We start by crafting complex search queries via our rich query language and then layer on real-time content filters. From there we leverage modern machine learning techniques and natural language processing algorithms to further segment and analyze the social activity streams. The result is the ability to accurately mine business critical insights from the mountains of social activity generated by today's TV audience.

  • Real-Time Pulse

    The trendrr platform is architected from the ground up to process large amounts of data with very little latency. It takes roughly one second from the time we receive a social activity packet via a data partner stream to the time it has finished running through our processing stack and is available within the Trendrr.TV dashboards and API. This gives our clients the unprecedented ability to monitor the social pulse of a TV show and/or brand as it happens and react quickly to our actionable insight data.

  • Deeper Insights: Looking at the Big Picture

    Although we prefer to stay close to real-time whenever possible, there are a lot of important data insights that are best solved by distributed processing of our huge social media activity archives. Trendrr's data scientists craft complex distributed processing routines that mine correlations such as how certain brands associate with TV shows and the TV interests of users that like a certain brand. This approach helps fill in the holistic view of what is happening around a show and make connections as to why the activity looks the way it does.

    It is not just a numbers game. Who, what, and why are the keys for unlocking the context behind the numbers. This deeper level of understanding is critical when it comes to gleaning actionable insights from a sea of social data. Our data scientists toil endlessly to come up with innovative ways to automate the process of filtering our data streams to just the conversation that matters and figure out the meaning behind the conversation and how it can help our clients. We employ deep machine learning and natural language processing techniques to classify conversations and mine out the underlying context of what is really being talked about.

    Being a company that spends so much time working on consuming other APIs, it was critical that we got ours right. Do you prefer JSON to XML? No problem. Do you want to leverage cutting edge WebSockets to display your real-time data instead of polling a REST endpoint? Happy to oblige. Need to test some API calls but don't want to write code to do it? We've got you covered. Just pop over to our API playground and you are good to go. And of course we have thorough API docs that are always up-to-date.

    We are big proponents of the service-oriented architecture and subscribe wholeheartedly to the golden rule of platforms, "Eat your own dog food." With that said, we are proud to say that all of our products are built solely off of our underlying data processing engine and fed directly from our API. Not only is it the most efficient way for us to rapidly develop and roll out new features for Trendrr.TV, it is also a fantastic example of the depth of integration that is possible by leveraging our platform API.
